Jammu, Apr 9: On behalf of All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association, Jammu Province, and J&K Forest Ministerial Staff Association, today condemned murderous attack on their colleague and demanded stern actions against the attackers.
Addressing a press conference here today, Ravi Kumar, President of the association, condemned murderous assault on duty forest employees Mohd Sadiq forest guard by encroachers/ land grabbers led by Salim son of. Mir Ali R/o Sunjwan, Molvi Zakir and their associates in Forest compartment No.3/Dungian Sunjwan in which Mohd Sadiq was seriously injured.
He condemned the murderous assault on colleague and sought registration of case against the attackers.
He requeted upon the e DC Jammu for issuing directions security to all the Forest Officers/Officials posted in encroachment prone areas.
"The Forest Protection Forces personnels with arms be posted in the Forest Ranges. Ban be imposed on use of heavy machineries in and around forest areas", he said.
