Jammu, Apr 9: A function was organized in the premises of newly established Mushroom Research and Training centre, Main Campus SKUAST-J, Chatha. Prof. Anil Gupta, Head, Division of Plant Pathology in his introductory address apprised the dignitaries of the activities being undertaken by the centre. On this occasion Prof. D.P. Abrol, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture emphasized upon the role of mushroom cultivation as an enterprise and discussed the importance of newly introduced experiential learning progra-mme in the curriculum of B.Sc (Agri). Prof. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-J interacted with the trained students and learnt about their experiences during the training. Aaina Sharma was adjudged the best student of the training. The function was attended by Prof. J.P Sharma, Director Research, Prof. S.E. H. Rizvi , Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Prof. Deepak Kher, Director, Planning and Monitoring, Dr. V.K. Razdan, University Librarian, Rajesh Talwar, Comptroller, Heads of various Divisions, faculty and students. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Sachin Gupta. |
