Jammu, Apr 11: On the initiative of Minister of Higher Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department , Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Govt. General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi organized an exposure visit for the students to Amritsar, Delhi and Agra. The Principal of the College Dr.S P Sarswat flagged off the visit on April 02, 2018. The students visited Wagah Border, Khalsa College and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. They also visited the premier institutions and heritage places of Delhi. The students visited the best colleges of The University of Delhi, namely Miranda House, St. Stephens College and Hindu College. Students also visited Nehru Planetarium, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humanyu Tomb, Delhi. Students also visited Agra Fort and Taj Mahal during the said visit. The said exposure visit concluded on April 10, 2018 and a feedback and evaluation session was organized in the College. The students shared their experiences and views regarding the said visit. The students were accompanied by Dr. Rakesh Bharti, Prof. Mohd Ashraf, Dr. Lakhvinder Singh and Dr Jagmeet Kaur. |
