Jammu, Apr 11: Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) asked State Government to provide funds for the construction of shooting range of international standard in the State. "Govt should provide funds for construction of shooting range so that the youth will be trained for participation not only at national level but also at international level shooting tournaments," President JKRA, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal said in the meeting held here on Tuesday. General Secretary of the Association, Amjad Parvez Mirza and Treasurer, S.S Sodhi besides all the members were present in the meeting.
They said there is no dearth of talent in Jammu and Kashmir but need of the time is to train the same by providing good and modern infrastructure.
They also congratulated shooter Heena Sidhu for clinching gold in women's 25m Pistol event in Commonwealth Games 2018. |
