Jammu, Apr 11: J&K Basketball Association (JKBA) shall organize and invitational basketball tournament for junior men (under 19) from the 18th to 20th at MA stadium Jammu.
The tournament shall be open to all clubs/institutions/districts of Jammu province and players born on or after January 1, 2000 are eligible to participate. The teams must confirm their participation latest by April 16, 2018. "The tournament is being organized to avail exposure to the players ahead of the forth coming junior national championship at Ludhiana, from May 7-14" said Dr. Vikram Handa, General Secretary JKBA.
The tournament is being sponsored by Addiction Gym, Chhani Himat. Nitin Gupta, Director Addiction Gym said that he chose to join hands with the J&K Basketball association as the game was fast becoming popular in the state and tournaments like this shall provide opportunities to youngsters to channelize their energies positively. |
