Doda, Apr 11: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Wednesday held a meeting at Doda in which the NSUI constituted its unit for Govt Degree College Doda.
The new unit was nominated during the meeting which was held under the guidance of District President NSUI Doda Asadullah Wani. In a press statement, the office bearers of NSUI for GDC Doda was announced which includes Farhan Khurwani as its President, Firasat Ali as Vice President, Sakib Aziz as General Secretary, Eidrees Ahmed as Secretary and Shoaib Hassan as Publicity Sectetary where as Nayar Hussain, Shafia Tabassum, Rafia Tabassum and Zubair Ahmed were nominated as executive members for NSUI GDC Doda Unit. The newly constituted team of NSUI thanked State President NSUI and District President NSUI for their continuous support. Speaking on the occasion, newly elected President Farhan Khurwani said that he and his team will not leave any stone unturned and will fight for the students cause with dedication. On this occasion, the newly constituted team of NSUI demands immediate commencement of PG Classes in GDC Doda viz English, Urdu and Arabic which was recently announced by State Govt and made an appeal to Vice Chancellor Univerity of Jammu in this regard so that poor students do not suffer any more and they can avail quality and higher education at their door step. Besides, the NSUI also demanded multi purpose auditorium hall for GDC Doda. |
