Jammu, Apr 19: Facing criticism for its failure to timely tackle Rassana incident, Jammu Police, it appears, have started the job to identify categories of news papers. The job of the police is to ensure safety and security of the people but Jammu Police is more concerned about identifying known and little known news papers. Today Jammu police issued rebuttal of a news item published in The Early Times to hide its mistake. Instead of clearing its position police term news paper as little known. "It may however be mentioned that a local reporter of Kishtwar, reporter of a little known english newspaper is habitual of floating stories against police and administration in this newspaper in order to create law and order situations and communal disturbance. He only out of the fifteen other press reporters of the district has generated this press report in this little known newspaper." police handout stated.
