 Jammu, Apr 19: Inter School District Level tournament for Girls in the sports discipline of Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carron, Speedball, Rifile shooting & weightlifting for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu gets underway today here at Indoor Complex M.A stadium Jammu. In all 1200 Girls are drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District are taking part in the competitions.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Sh. Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Sh. Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Smt. Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the tournament. The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level competitions. |
