JAMMU, Apr 25:Members of NGO, 'Healthy India, Stronger India' (HISI) today met senior Indian National Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha member Dr Karan Singh. Chairman of the HISI, Hira Lal Abrol accompanied the team members. The meeting was scheduled to discuss the possibilities in J&K state for skill development of the youth. HISI is already running its center in Jammu city that provides free training in tailoring, free training in beautician course, free computer course and free library to needy students. Students are trained in this center free of cost and provided with the course completion certificates so that they can stand on their own and earn livelihood for their families. Dr Karan Singh appreciated the hard work of Hira Lal Abrol and team members of HISI for providing the free skill development opportunities to the youth of the state. |
