Hiranangar, Apr 26: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Kathua started its Inter School Zone level tournament in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Cricket, Tennis ball Cricket, Wrestling, Football, Table Tennis and Badminton for under 14 and under 17 years boys and girls at Sports Stadium Hiranagar.
The programme was held under the guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Subash Chander Bhardwaj and overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar Yog Raj Sharma.
Today, the competitions of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball for under 14 years boys were held in which 224 players of 27 Government and Private schools participated. The tournament was inaugurated by Sub Divisional Magistrate Hiranagar Suresh Sharma (KAS).
Today's matches for officiated by Avnesh Kumar, Subash Chander, Sudha Jasrotia, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Sharma Omkarnath, Naresh Kumar, Sunita Sharma, Kunti Devi.
Joginder Kumar Khajuria, Kulbushan Kumar, Narinder Kumar, Sohan Singh, Sanjeev Sunny were also present on the occasion. |
