Awareness camp organised | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, May 16: A lecture cum awareness programme was organized by Indian Army in collaboration with J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Ramban at Khari, today. As many as 200 youth from Khari and its adjoining village attended the awareness camp. The lecture was conducted by district nodal officer JKEDI Ramban Yashpal. He brought out silent aspects and benefits of 'Himayat scheme. Unemployed youth who have minimum educational qualification of class 8th and is aged between 18 to 35 yrs are eligible for availing benefits of this scheme. The benefits of scheme was also involve a loan of amount upto Rs 4 lakh on culmination of training to initiate their start up business. He further said that the scheme is indeed a major step towards tapping the educated unemployed youth of the area and giving them a platform to start a small scale business and earn a livelihood for themselves. |
