Kathua, May 16: Kartar Public School, Barnoti celebrated the International Day of Families today in a grand manner. Students of the senior wing presented poems, speeches and skits to promote family values of love and care. Speaking on this occasion, Harpreet Kaur, Secretary-cum-Principal felt that family is the oldest social institution of the world surviving the ravages of time. Chairman of KPS, Er. Nirmaljit Singh said that a house is built of brick and stone but only a family makes it a home. There is a need to preserve and promote family values of love, care, unity and sacrifice.
A pledge was administered to the students on this eve to promote the family values. India has always believed that the entire world is a single family and the school is also a family to nurture humanity. |
