| Dharana faces water shortage, DC assures action | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, May 16: People of border district Poonch are facing shortage of drinking water.
The matter has been raised with the concerned authorities including the deputy commissioner but nothing has moved.
Although PHE department has claimed to provide drinking water in proper way but the truth come out in Deputy Commissioner's native village Dharana on Tuesday when he was going for a public darbar in this village.
Sources informed that many ladies from DC's village intercepted him and narrated their grievances. They said, they are getting water from far off places and administration is not doing anything.
Later deputy commissioner assured them to solve the issue on priority basis. |
