| Miscreants attack policeman guarding Kashmir University, snatch rifle | | |

Srinagar, May 16: Unidentified people allegedly snatched a rifle from a policeman guarding the Kashmir University in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Police said the policeman was attacked while he was manning a guard post at the institution located near Rumi Gate. He was on deputation from the armed police.
A spokesperson said security personnel were searching the area, and suspects were being identified. "The policeman is doing fine," said Kashmir inspector general of police SP Pani. |
