ITI trained, CP workers hold protest, tool down strike concluded | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 16: All J&K PHE, ITI Trained and CP Workers Association held a protest here today near Press Club of Jammu. The protest was staged to conclude the 72 hours kaam chodo hartal of the Association. The protest was led by Tanveer Hussain (President). Tanveer called 72 hours kaam chodo hartal as a wakeup call for the state government to address their issues. He thanked all daily wagers of all divisions of Jammu province for making this strike successful. During the protest, he informed the media that the Central Committee of All J&K PHE ITI Trained and CP workers Association on the call of SE held a meeting with the senior officers of the department which was chaired by SE. In the meeting the association had a detailed discussion with officers on all issues. The officers gave patient hearing regarding all the issues and assure their timely disposal. The officers assured association that the issues of vouchers will be resolved at earliest and continuation certificates will be issued for the period of the gap. Further they assured that soon daily wagers will get revised salaries. |
