KVK organises training programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 16: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) organised one day long training programme on "Entrepreneurship Development in Organic Agriculture" here today at Talwara village of Reasi district of J&K which was attended by a number of progressive farmers of the area. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Associate Director Extension (ADE) & Incharge of all the KVKs of SKUAST-J, Dr. R.K. Arora. While addressing the farmers, Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi. Dr. Banarsi Lal emphasized on the scientific organic crops production to create income and employment among the farmers. He highlighted the soil health management by using the organic agriculture technologies. He stressed on the eco-friendly technologies for crops cultivation and informed the farmers that organically grown crops are healthier and costlier than conventionally grown crops. |
