| 30 bovines rescued | | |  Early Times Report
Thanamandi, May 16: Foiling a major bovine smuggling bid, Rajouri police today rescued thirty bovines from the clutches of smugglers. Police team headed by ASI Abdul Kabir from Police Station Thanamandi was on routine patrolling when they spotted some smugglers moving alongwith bovines by foot and smugglers were intercepted at area between Mangota and Alal.
A total of thirty bovines have been rescued by police while three smugglers Abdul Aziz son of Ilam Din, Mohd Sikander son of Abdul Aziz and Jamal Din son of Abdul Majid all residents of Kalakote Rajouri arrested. A case under relevant sections has been registered in police station Thanamandi. Bovine smuggling bid was foiled under the supervision of SHO Thanamandi Nazir A Dar and SDPO Thanamandi Iftikar A Chowdhary & Addl SP Rajouri Mohd Yousaf. |
