Jammu, May 31: Doon International School Jammu organized a ceremonial presentation of the Investiture ceremony for the student Council of the session 2018-19.
The Chief guest for the occasion was Dr S.D. Singh Jamwal (IPS), Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone. The Investiture Ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by the School Song sung by the Student Council. The elected leaders of the school were conferred with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest, Chairman and the Principal of the school. The Student Council took the pledge to uphold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem and with head held high. The oath ceremony was presided by the Vice Principal Mamta Chopra and the Mistress of the Ceremony Rachana Khanna.
The Chairman Mr. G.N.Tantray and the Principal Dr. Vikesh Kaur congratulated the newly elected prefectorial body and inspired them to discharge the responsibility bestowed upon them with dedication, determination, sincerity and integrity. |
