Early Times Report
Jammu, May 31: Already awarded by the party state and central leadership for opposing abrogation of Article 370, BJP's face from Kashmir Valley Hina Bhat has been selected among 50 top female politicians of the country. It is the same Hina Bhat, who had threatened in the month of November 2014 before assembly elections in the State, to pick up gun if Sangh Parivar dared to even touch Article 370.
Bhat, who is also the vice-president of the BJP's women wing in the state, had stated that if the Article was touched, it would force Kashmiris to pick up guns again. "And you know I am a Kashmiri too," she had warned.
It is widely believed that it was all due to threat to Hina Bhat that BJP leadership, in its 2014 assembly election manifesto had deleted the demand of abrogating Article 370 which is core of party's ideology.
Due to her strong opposition to the core ideology of Sangh Parivar, Hina Bhat was awared by the BJP and appointed as Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), North Zone Member
Dr. Hina who was last year nominated as Member North Zone KVIC by Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on the political and economic empowerment of women, saying that they should be given equal opportunities in all fields. Elaborating, she said economic empowerment of women was as important as their political empowerment and equal rights on parental property must be extended to women.
Dr. Hina who is one of the top BJP leader from Kashmir Valley while taking over charge of Member North Zone KVIC, the Schemes especially PMEGP got a flip as the targets were increased 3 times.
