Early Times Report
Jammu, May 31: A powerful Sub-Inspector (SI) who is posted in one of the districts of the Jammu-Kathua-Samba (JKS) Range for last couple of years and has managed his fourth posting as Station House Officer (SHO) of a prime police station in the same district where he is posted.
"For the last couple of years he had managed his posting in a particular district of the JKS Range and this is his fourth posting in the same district as SHO that too of a prime police station", said a source.
He said the SI in question is posted in one of the districts of the JKS Range for last several years with the blessing of his seniors.
"The powerful SI had already managed his posting twice as SHO in a police station falling in border area and one time on National Highway", said the source, adding that now he has been posted again as SHO of a police station on National Highway.
He had managed his stay as SHO twice in a police station falling in border area and now with his new posting he has recorded his two-time stay of a police station on National Highway, said a police officer.
Earlier, the SI who was heading a police station in border area was transferred by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of concerned district and shifted to District police Lines (DPL) of the said district and posted an Inspector as SHO in his place.
"After spending few days in the DPL he was posted as in-charge of police post which is very prime police post of the district and when he was not feeling comfortable in the said police post he again managed his posting as SHO of a police station on National Highway", said the police officer.
If sources are to be believed the said SI has close links with top officers owing to which he is managing his postings as SHO of prime police stations and in-charge police prime police posts.
There are some inspectors posted in DPL of the district who were neglected by the seniors of the district.
