Early Times Report Jammu, May 31: In order to inspire deserving young men and women to join the J&K Police, Superintendent of Police (SP) South Jammu-Sandeep Chaudhary (IPS) today started a free coaching camp from of May 31, 2018 to 23rd of June, 2018 in his office. As recruitment exam for the post of Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in J&K Police department is going to be conducted on 24th of June, 2018 and the exam will be conducted in an objective and transparent manner through a written examination, SP South has taken the responsibility to inspire the deserving young men and women to join the J&K Police by starting free coaching classes for the aspirants. The SP said that the coaching camp will be totally free of cost and entire syllabus for the exam will be covered. The syllabus for the written exam includes current events of National and International importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World, Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Police, Right Issues, etc. He further guided the aspirants that the exam will further include Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc, General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and climate Change- that do not require subject specialization, General Science, General mental ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitudes, etc). Guiding the aspirants about the pattern of the exam, SP said that total 120 Multiple Choice/ objective type Questions will be part of the examination and duration will be two hours. The candidates who have qualified the physical examination are encouraged to benefit from this coaching camp. The young IPS Officer was of the opinion that the priority of this coaching camp is to encourage bright young men and women from rural backgrounds to work hard and achieve success in this tough competition. Ably guided and transparently recruited officers can go a long way in serving the society better. |
