| JCCI takes disciplinary action against member | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 2: The Disciplinary Committee of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu who was assigned the task of taking cognizance of few defamatory Posts made by some members of Jammu Chamber on social media had three meetings so far. The high powered Disciplinary Committee nominated by the President JCCI Rakesh Gupta today recommended suspension / expulsion of one such member for five years namely Om Parkash Kesar of M/s Kesar Brothers, 49-D-New Rehari Jammu who had posted highly derogatory and defamatory comments on face book against the Chamber in violation of the conditions laid down in the Constitution of Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It is pertinent to note that the said member was served show cause notice and also appeared personally before the Disciplinary Committee. This matter shall be soon referred to the Executive Committee in the forthcoming meeting shortly who shall consider the suspension / expulsion of the said member and further action under the Constitution shall be taken. |
