JAMMU, June 2: India International Friendship Society, New Delhi has conferred the prestigious Bharat Jyoti Award upon S.S. Sodhi, PVC/ Director DPS Schools J&K & Chairman, JKICS, New Delhi for his outstanding services, achievements and contributions along with a certificate of excellence in recognition for his glorious 25 years of meritorious service and contribution to the nation in social, educational and charitable fields. The award was presented by Lt. Governor K. M. Seth, former Governor, Chattisgarh and Tripura in a glittering award ceremony held today during the ongoing seminar on 'Economic Growth and National Integration' at India International Centre, New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion Sodhi said, "I am humbled that my efforts have been recognized and honoured at such a big platform. My life's motto and passion is to serve the society whichever way I can. I like doing it and would continue to do so in future as well." |
