Jammu, June 10: Emphasizing on the need for releasing arrears of 7th pay commission in favor of state pensioners in one installment, National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed to the State Chief Minister to expedite the process. "This is need of the hour when the prices of basic amenities are going up sharply and pensioners from 60-80 age groups have no source of income expect their monthly pension." Shastri said this while addressing a well attended NMC workers meet at Secretary Park in Gandhi Nagar. Among others who were also present on the occasion included Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S. Jamwal, Darshan Bawa, Madan Lal, Suraj Parkash, Ram Singh, Paramjeet, Sudesh and others. |
