Raina visits Ramban, held meeting

RAMBAN, June 10: The state Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), president ,Ravinder Raina accompanied by Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Ramban Neelam Langeh and BJP,District President,Ramesh Sharma today paid obeisance at the 27th 3 day Annual Ruhani Sant Sammelan on its third and last day at Batote today .
While addressing a large number of devotees mostly from Punjab, Haryana and HP he underlined the role of religious preachers in making the society free from evils and violence.
While praising the organizer of the Ruhani Sant Sammelan , Swami 108 Bhuvneshvari Devi, for regularly enlightening the society here by organizing the spiritual function every year he thanked her for reaching out to all sections of society in Batote by giving alms to poor and the students.
He attributed the progress of the country leaps and bounds to the grace of such spiritual persons of all religions .
The prominent saints who graced the Sammellan included Swami Aksheranand of Jammu, Swami Ram Jewan Das of Ara,Bihar, Swami Shyam Narain Pandey of Vrindavan (UP) , Virender Sharma of Chhagwal, Jammu, Swami Maruti Kinkar Muni of Kashi Benaras, swami Shankar Muni of Sunam Punjab, Swami Bua Ditta of Magloor,Jammu , Swami Ji Maharaj of Kheri(HP) and Sant Baba Ranjit Singh of Punjab. Other prominent persons who attended the sammellan included Teshildar,Batote,Srinath Suman and Naib-Tehsildar,Saifullah Shah. Whole proceedings were compeered by Anand Gupta.
The Batote town wore a festive look and teemed with hundreds of devotees during these three days that came as some respite for the distressed businessmen of Batote which has been neglected after the commissioning of the Chenani-Nashri tunnel.
Later, Ravinder Raina alongwith MLA Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh visited Ramban and had a meeting with BJP workers at community hall Maitra Ramban.
