JK ReT Teachers Forum announces protest from June 11 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 10: The Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum has announced another protest programme against denying of 7th Pay Commission benefits to over forty thousand ReTs and RRETS working under SSA. This was stated by Senior Vice Chairman of JK ReT Teachers Forum Bhupinder Singh in a press conference at Press club Jammu. While talking withmedia persons Bhupinder Singh said that SSA teachers have been appointed by JK Government led by than Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayed.At that time all the recruitment in Government service was banned but Mufti Mohd Sayed has done a marvelous job for the educated youth of JK and SSA Scheme was started in 2003.When the Scheme was launched than there was no service guarantee. But under the Chief Minister Ship of Mufti Mohd Sayed, five years service as ReT where fixed as temporary service and after completion of five years service, the RET become general line teacher, Singh added. Bhupinder Singh said that all the things were carried normal till the coming of this Govt. But after the present regime led by BJP-PDP we the ReT fraternity facing great difficulties and harassment, some time the phobia by screening test was created but due to the unity of JKRETTF, Govt. Failed to take Screening test. Now another phobia is created by govt. that SSA teachers are contractual teachers and could not get the benefits of 7th pay commission .Singh said that education department regularize over services as general line teachers and it is the responsibility of State Govt. to give us Salary from State Budget. |
