| Speedy vehicle crushes traffic cop to death in Srinagar | | | Agencies
Srinagar: A traffic cop was killed by a speedy vehicle at Panthachowk area of Srinagar on Monday.
Police officials said that a speedy vehicle hit the traffic police cop who was performing his duties at Pantha chowk. He was identified as Special Police officer Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Zewan.
However the injured cop was rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Police have registered a case and investigation has been taken up.
