Early Times Report Nowshera, June 16: Pakistani forces continued their unprovoked firing at the border in Jammu and Kashmir even on Eid. An Army jawan was martyred as Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and resorted to indiscriminate firing at Indian posts in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera area on Saturday. The Indian troops were giving them a befitting reply till the reports last filtered in. Rifleman Bikas Gurung, 21, lost his life in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan. Gurung belonged to Khunka Khuki village, Manipur, and is survived by his mother Shrimati Beana May Gurung. Earlier on Wednesday, four BSF personnel lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Chambliyal sector of Samba. |
