Shahbaz Sharif's oft repeated sermon which is not acceptable to India
6/16/2018 11:17:10 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 16: An oft repeated sermon from Pakistan. This time the sermon is from Shehbaz Sharif,President PML(N) and brother of ousted Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif. Since Shehbaz Sharif is Prime Ministerial candidate of the PML(N) for the ensuing Elections he may be trying to strengthen his vote bank so that he is able to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Shehbaz wants India and Pakistan to emulate the old rivals, North Korea and the United States. The North Korea President, Kim Jong-un,signed an agreement with the US President, Donald Trump, in Singapore summit between the two leaders under which North Korea has agreed to the Trump's demand for denuclearisation after securing security guarantee from the US. Shahbaz Sharif wants India and Pakistan to follow the Singapore summit without announcing any plan for Pakistan to follow North Korean plan to adopt denuclearisation.
Instead Shahbaz has urged India to resume bilateral dialogue for the settlement of the Kashmir issue the issue that has posed danger to peace in the region. And the PML(N) President wants India to resolve the Kashmir issue through the implementation of the UN resolutions. The same old sermon from the would be Prime Minister of Pakistan.Instead of telling Pakistan to stop exporting terror to India including Jammu and Kashmir the only condition which has been put forth by India for the resumption of bilateral talks.
Shahbaz is silent about the precondition laid down by India and believes that if he becomes the Prime Minister he would not be held responsible for blocking the bilateral talks. As would be Prime Minister he may be in the eyes of Pakistan people for his boldness to convey to India that it should implement the UN resolutions for which India has been fighting against its implementation.
India believes in the UN officials' claim that the UN resolution of 1948 is outdated and obsolete. India is right because under the UN resolution Pakistan was told to withdraw all her forces from occupied Kashmir which it had not done so far allowing India the advantage of opposing the implementation of the UN resolution.
If Shahbaz wants India and Pakistan to emulate Trump-Kim Jong agreement which is confined to the North Korea's commitment to carry out denuclearisation which was the main demand of the US President.Had Shabaz gone through the agreement between the lines he would have not urged India to resolve the Kashmir issue as per the UN resolution.Had the would be Prime Minister of Pakistan had gone through the agreement he would have urged India and Pakistan to emulate North Korea in its plan of carrying out total denuclearisation which would have promoted goodwill between India and Pakistan and removed the threat of use of atomic bomb But Shahbaz has followed the the successive Prime Ministers of Pakistan, including the .military ruers who kept on harping on the need for settling the Kashmir issue as per the UN resolution.
Shahbaz does not wish to make experiments with new ideas after his brother Nawaz Sharif has been blamed for sedition when he accused Pakistan of its involvement in Mumbai attack of 2008 and questioned Islamabad for its infiltration of non state actors in the Indian states, including Jammu and Kashmir
