International Human Right Organization condemns killing of Shujaat, Aurangzeb

Jammu, June 16: International Human Right Organization (IHRO) today condemned the brutal killing of senior journalist and editor-in-chief of Rising Kashmir Newspaper Shujaat Bhukhari, his two PSOs and an army jawan martyr Aurangzeb.
International Human Right Organization (IHRO) today organized a press conference at Gandhi Nagar office which was addressed by State Deputy Director IHRO-Pardeepak Singh Chib, District President Shakti Uppal, Chief Spokesperson, Varun Jamwal, Vice President, Mani Gupta and State Executive member Pranvat Sahib. Chib said that killing as most cowardice, barbaric and inhuman act. Chib urged the Central and State Government to enhance the security of all journalists in Jammu and Kashmir. Chib also said that the killing of a journalist is really shocking news for everyone who believes in the pillar of democracy. He said that such attack further reinforce the strong will of media fraternity to work for the society. He also conveyed is heartfelt condolences to family of journalist.
Chib said and demanded safety of journalists and also sought security for the journalist fraternity especially for those who are into field and putting their lives on risk performing professional duties. Shujaat was also member of press club of Jammu.
Pardeepak Singh Chib-State Deputy Director IHRO J&K and members of IHRO J&K also pay tribute to the army jawan martyr Aurangzeb. Chib said that terrorists have no religion.
Meanwhile Chib said that it is very unfortunate that ceasefire exercise could not move ahead because of the fact shelling at the borders continued and as such we lost many precious lives. Our border people suffer, day in and day out and have to leave their residential places to seek shelter at safer sites. It is not only on borders, our security forces are facing proxy war in the valley of Kashmir although they are maintaining total restraint in countering operations.
