ADC directs CEO to re-advertise posts of contractual teachers' | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, July 7: After many unemployed educated youth from Kotranka sub district in Rajouri district lodged complaint about alleged favouritism by the officials of the education department in releasing the merit list of contractual teachers, ADC Kotranka has directed CEO to go for re-advertisement of the posts. "We were not aware when the advertisement was made by the department for these posts and how the concerned ZEO has released the panel (merit list) on July 6 for objection. As for as we are concerned we have not seen any advertisement in the prominent daily newspapers of the area" said Waqar. The unemployed youth informed the ADC that the official concerned had not made any advertisement in the prominent newspapers and by adopting unfair means they have adjusted their blue eyed, relatives, family members and those having political influence and strong financial back. The concerned officials have deliberately kept the deserving and non-influential candidates unaware about the advertisement to adjust their blue eyed in the merit list; alleged unemployed highly qualified educated youth and demanded to keep the panel at abeyance. After paying patient hearing to the complainants, Shafiq Ahmed, ADC, Kotranka vide his office letter No. ADC/Kts/10-12 dt 7/7/2018 has asked the Chief Education Officer to keep the panel in abeyance for some period and re-advertise the posts in leading papers within seven days so that the unaware unemployed youth from the area may get chance to apply for the post on the basis of merit. Despite several telephone calls to know the view of Ch Lal Hussain, CEO into this matter/ his action, he didn't respond to repeated calls. |
