Jammu, July 7: Ex-Serviceman Club Sainik Colony held a press conference regarding land grabbing in heart of Sainik Colony by land mafia the land was awarded by government to soldiers and windows in 1971 the total land was 4400 Kanals and one khud dividing Sainik Colony and the owner of Gair Mumkin khad was government so the money was paid to government and later it was developed by Sainik Colony making roads parks and band on both side of khud and electric poles and pipes and later it was awarded to soldiers and Windows but in year 2012 land mafia manage the power of attorney of the Gair Mumkin khud and with the help of some revenue officials destroyed the roads drains parks and demolish the houses of soldiers one master warrant officer Khajur Singh's house and captain Tirath Ram of Punjab Regiment his house also erased his son is also serving in army and is living on border and land Mafia encroached some part of land for government hospital power house and mini stadium land he is also going to capture in which Dussehra is held and he filed a Contempt for celebrating Dussehra and moving his claim step by step ahead to encroach the entire Sainik Colony with the help of some revenue people the soldiers and Windows are requesting the His Highness Governor NN Vora to Depute advisor on this issue and bring justice to soldiers and widows. |
