| DGP reviews Amarnath Yatra arrangements in Kathua | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: DGP Jammu and Kashmir S.P. Vaid today reviewed Amarnath Ji Yatra arrangements in Kathua along with IGP Jammu and DIGP JKS range.
During his visit he reviewed security arrangements made at Lakhanpur Reception Center, the gateway of J&K besides, other important locations. He was accompanied by S.D. Singh IPS , IGP Jammu , Bhim Sen Tuti IPS , DIG Jammu. Shridhar Patil IPS , SP Kathua,Sh Nasir Khan Addl SP Kathua and other territorial officers were also present.
DGP emphasized that security and facilitation of Yatris is top priority of Jammu and Kashmir Police and issued directions to all officers of District Kathua to make all possible efforts to further strengthen the security grid and to make the journey comfortable for the yatries. DGP JK also conducted meeting with officers in District Police Headquarters Kathua.
Besides yatra security , Women's security, anti drugs measures and progress on crime free society is also decided as priority of J&K Police. He also visited Yatra camp at Chan Aroria and interacted with Yatris. Yatris hailed efforts of police and gave valuable feedback to the officers. |
