Principal Commissioner Income Tax receive 'Aayakar Jyoti'

Jammu, July 19: Every year Income Tax Day is being celebrated on 24th of July, this year being 158th year Income Tax Day, various activities like lighting of Torch, Painting competition, Plantations, Seminar will take place.
The lighting of torch has been named "Aayakar Jyoti" which is being received on 19th of July, 2018 by the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K, Jammu and will move around the city at prominent places like Gandhi Nagar, Raghunath Bazar, Vinayak Bazar and Aayakar Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu to make citizens of the state aware of the contributions made by Income Tax Department in National Building.
The citizens are also made aware of their role and duty in payment of income tax to fund various developments schemes launched by Government of India.
Eminent personalities like Padamshree Balwant Thakur, Bana Singh, Paramveer Chakra and International Gymnast Krupali will receive the "Aayakar Jyoti" at Gandhi Nagar, Raghunath Bazar and Aayakar Bhawan, Jammu respectively. Besides other dignitaries Honorary secretary, Amar Singh Club Vijay Saraf who also centributed in many ways was also present on the occassion. All Trade Associations, Institute of Charted Accountants, Income Tax Bar Association have also been involved to make it a grand success.
