| Anganwari Workers, Helpers continue protest | | |  Early Times Report
udhampur, July 19: Hundreds of Anganwari workers, who have been on a strike for more than four months in support of their demands which include release of their salaries and a hike in honorarium, continued their protest here today in front of DC office.
The protesters under the banner of Anganwari Workers and Helpers Association shouted slogans in favour of their demands. Protestors alleged that the government made hoax promises with them causing immense sufferings to their families. They said that now that the Governor Rule has been imposed in the state but no action is in sight so far to fulfill their demands. The protesters said that they will continue their protest till their demands not fulfilled. |
