Srinagar, July 21: Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Oui Bamdoora village of Kokernag area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district. Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was killed along with two associates in the same village two years ago. Reports said that army's 19RR, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 164 CRPF cordoned off the area after receiving inputs about the movement of militants. |
