Leh, July 25: S K Goyal, Advisor (MoU), Department of Public Enterprises, Government of India (GoI) visited Nimoo Bazgo Power Station, Alchi today which is one of the Power Station of NHPC Limited situated in Leh, Ladakh Region of Jammu & Kashmir with installed capacity of 45 MW.
He was received at the power station by Prit Pal Singh Wilkh, Chief Engineer and other Sr.Officers. The visiting dignitary was briefed about each and every component of the project and also the process of Hydro Power Generation. NHPC is operating the Power Station with commitment to generate round the clock electricity for Leh and its surrounding remote villages.
During his visit S.K.Goyal, appreciated the working of the Power Station inspite of freezing and hostile environmental conditions. Before leaving, he also appreciated the working spirit of officers and workers of NHPC who are working with full dedication under such extremely adverse climatic conditions in the high altitude area of Leh-Ladakh. |
