PDP-BJP's soft policy towards terror, separatists exposed
7/25/2018 11:33:40 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: Since the day Governor's rule has been imposed in the state the separatists are finding it hard to even exist as the fear of prison and they being treated like ordinary prisoners has pushed them on the back foot.
On Tuesday separatists organized a seminar in Srinagar without Geelanii and Mirwaiz as they were placed under house arrest. The speakers at the seminar chose their words carefully to save themselves from being taken to task.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "During the past one month separatists have struggled to keep themselves relevant as they have been left issueless."
He said, "The Governor's administration has proved that where there is a will there is a way. It should serve as an eye opener for the BJP leaders who just turned a blind eye towards what was happening around them and allowed the Kashmir centric leaders to call the shots."
The analyst said that it has been proven beyond doubt that BJP leaders made no attempt to bring the anti-national elements on track and allowed their coalition partner Peoples Democratic Party to pamper them (separatists).
A Kashmir watcher said that "wrong policies" of the PDP-BJP government messed up the entire state and pushed it to the edge. "With each passing day it is becoming clear that terrorists were given a freehand and the Pakistan stooges were also provided enough space to execute their plans. The nationalist people kept on screaming that soft policy of the fallen PDP-BJP regime towards the anti-national elements is making things worse but the BJP leaders did not pay any heed and kept on reaping the fruits of power," he added.
A politician said, "One fails to understand why the PDP remained soft towards the terrorists and their handlers? Is it that they wanted to appease Pakistan and their stooges."
He said, "There were rumours that during the past three years PDP leaders went out of way to accommodate the sympathizers of the militants and separatists. They were even provided government jobs and were showered undue favours."
A source said, "The previous regime did not even allow the security agencies to work freely and kept on poking their noses into sensitive affairs. They exerted pressure to get the trouble mongers released and hush up the cases registered against them."
He said, "Within one month the change is visible on ground as the miscreants know it very well that no one would get them out of the prisons."
