| Residents Rama Krishna Vihar rue under-development, government apathy | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: The inhabitants of Rama Krishna Vihar accused the the government of ignoring it on the developmental front.
As per press statement issued here, the residents said that due to the lack of attention of the higher ups in the Administration meager development has taken place during the last 10 years. In rainy seasons all the water gets accumulated in the Colony resulting into the numerous problems for its residents. Infirm old persons and little children of the Colony are the worst sufferers. A few years back some portion of the drain was constructed and presently also one drain are being constructed by the R&B Department.
They also said that the matter of the fact is that the main entrance to the whole Colony, where almost hundred families are living, passes through these lanes. These lanes connect the two Ashrams i.e. YSS Ashram from Poonch Lines side and Rama Krishna Ashram from other side with Ganesh Temple situated in the middle of the Colony which attaches more importance to these lanes. There is also the need to blacktop all these roads of the colony for smooth movement of traffic. |
