| Bopee scam: HC reserves orders on ex-BOPEE chairman's plea | | |

Srinagar, July 25: The state High Court today reserved its order on suspension of sentence given to former BOPEE chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Peer who was sentenced to 16-years in prison and fined Rs one crore in CET Scam.
The court of Justice M K Hanjura while hearing the petitioner's counsel and state counsel reserved its orders.
Peer's counsel has sought suspension of the sentence till the main appeal was heard and considered by the court but Sr. AAG B A Dar vehemently opposed the submission. |
