jammu, July 25: In the honour and memory of the Kargil War heroes, a Triranga Yatra was organized by Shoor Veer Jammu Sangathan (SVJS) from Army Gate, Lale Da Bagh, Lower Muthi to Press Club, Jammu.
Speaking to the media Rajroop Singh and Balbir Singh (Veer Singh) of Shur Veer Jammu Sangathan said that in the Kargil war Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav of 18 Grenadiers, Lieutenant Manoj Kumar Pandey of 1/11 Gorkha Rifles, Captain Vikram Batra of 13 JAK Rifles, Rifleman Sanjay Kumar of 13 JAK Rifles and a total of 527 brave hearts of the Indian Army laid their lives in the service of our nation. He said that by way of this TirangaYatra , we also wanted to tell our nation that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are very grateful to the valiant service of the Indian Army to our nation in Jammu and Kashmir. |
