Hiranagar, Aug 2: The volunteers of National service scheme (NSS) of GLDM Degree College Hiranagar as a part of Swachhta Pakhwara visted Canal Road area and conducted a cleanliness drive.
Holding banners and posters with informative messages, the students interacted with locals and informed them about cause and symptoms of fatal diseases like dengue, tuberculosis and typhoid. Later during the programme, principal of the college Prof. Subash Chander also stressed on the importance of cleanliness in daily life.
