JKGB achieves target of 103% under "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 2: J&K Grameen Bank achieved the set target of 49874 by enrolling 51677 ( 103%) enrollments under campaign "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department in collaboration with Regional Office Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara achieved the given target under Government of India campaign "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" in given 177 villages covered in Districts Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara. Chairman J&K Grameen Bank, Janak Raj Angural, expressed his gratitude for achievement of the given targets under Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan. He appreciated all the staff for making the efforts to achieve the target of 49874 successfully under Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan. He expressed his satisfaction over the achievement of the targets given to J&K Grameen Bank under this campaign Vipan Gupta, Sr. Manager MFFI Department, J&K Grameen Bank announced that the targets given to J&K Grameen Bank under Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan in Kashmir Division have been achieved successfully. He highlights that 51677 enrolments has been done so far against the revised target of 49874 given to the bank after reallocation of the villages under the said programme with 103% achievement. He highlights that the bank has opened the accounts of mostly unbanked population in the most backward areas of the given 177 villages under Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bhima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha BhimaYojana (PMSBY). |
