| Road widening work hit water supply in Bali | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Aug2: The widening work of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has damaged a PHE pipeline in Bali village of the district due to which the water supply to the hamlet as well as Madarssa in the area has completely snapped. Due to the non-restoration of the water pipe line village Bali as well as Madarssa are facing acute shortage of water.
Aggrieved locals said that despite repeated pleas to the PHE Department as well as National Highway Authority of India nothing has been done so far. Mohd Arshad, a student of Madarssa, said that earlier we used to have proper supply of water but widening work of National Highway damaged our water supply pipes due to which we are facing scarcity of water for over one year now.
