Bajrang dal stages protest against Rohingyas, Bangladeshi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 2: Flaying the Centre and the previous state coalition for adopting delay tactics over the deportation of Rohingya and Bangladeshi nationals from Jammu, Bajrang dal activists led by chairman Rakesh staged a protest. The protesters asked the Centre to come out with a concrete action plan to deport these unlawful foreign immigrants to their native countries without any further delay. Speaking on occasion, Rakesh said each time when a demand was raised for their deportation, the Home Ministry came out with a stereotype reply that the state had been asked to carry out their enumeration and collect biometric details. Describing Rohingya as the biggest threat to the communal harmony and composite culture of Jammu, he said despite their proven links with militant outfits and suspected role in terror attacks, the Government of India besides the erstwhile BJP-partnered state government had not responded to the alarming situation which had vitiated peace and caused public unrest in the entire region. |
