| JP World School organizes inter-house English debate competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 2: JP World School organized an inter-school English debate competition in which the students faced each other head to head with words and reasons.
The participants debated over the topics "Impact of Social Media on the Society" and "Video games cause bad behaviour in Children". The competition comprised of three categories, each consisting of students from different classes. In category-I, Wasif from Tawi House secured the first position, whereas, Pushwinder from Jhelum House and Haider from Tawi House were the second and the third winners respectively.
The first and the second winners from the second category were Jasleen from Chenab House and Maria from the Ravi House, while Hasnain from Chenab House and Manya from the Tawi shared the third position.
In the third category, Madhvan from the Jhelum House stood first. The second position was shared by Ayesha from Tawi House and Anshika from the Chenab house while the third position was shared by Hadiya from Ravi House and Sadiya from the Tawi House. Tawi House was declared the overall winner among all the three categories. All the participants put forth their views and arguments skilfully.
JS Hundal, Principal of the School was the chief guest of the event. He congratulated the contestants and exhorted the other students to take part in such activities. The whole event was organized by Priya, Bindu, and Tanzeel whereas Shabnam and Ranju were the members of the jury. The event was compeered by Vanshika and Archie while Abhiroop, Samya, Daniya and Sabha added to the fun in the event. |
