Poonch, Aug 3: Social Welfare Department Poonch is accused of apathy for itd anti-poor policies by public. In this regard a local Ch Mohd Din of Loran said that ST students of the district are not provided education scholarship for four previous years whereas education department collect their formalities. Students of this downtrodden section are dependent only on scholarship, he added. He has appealed to Governor N N Vohra to take this matter personally for it's redressal. Furthermore many poor handicapped people who have applied for four wheeler scooters are also ignored.
Maroof Chouhan while accusing the department of biad said, many pensioners have expired/died whose pension has been transferred to some influential and blue eyed beneficiaries while genuine applicants have been neglected in this sector too. They have appealed to Governor N N Vohra to take note of the matter at earliest. |
