| Pushp Vatika celebrates "Blue Day" | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 3: Pushp Vatika-A unit of Shiksha Niketan celebrated "Blue Day'. It was a pleasant and a cool day for the tiny tots. The blue colour is associated with calmness, strength, friendship and serenity.
On the Occasion, Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All Children were dressed in blue as well as teachers were in blue dress code. The entire tiny toddlers sections were decorated with blue objects and children were introduced to different shades of blue through different games and playway activities. An array of blue coloured objects like umbrella, ball , Cloud, dolphin etc were at display thus providing the students opportunities to have a clear sense of the colour and is importance.
Blue day was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each student. Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child's development. It was indeed a visual treat o see the good effects of blue colour on our little ones, "Sushama Sharma". She lauded the creativity of the Teachers. |
