SAKS holds working committee meeting

Jammu, Aug 12: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K held its Working Committee Meeting today at Raj Tilak Bhawan Purani Mandi Jammu under the chairmanship of Kr Narayan Singh President of the Sabha. Almost all the Working Committee Members, Advisors to sabha and special Invitees attended the meeting.
The main agenda of the Working Committee Meeting was with regard to the Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji falling on 23/09/2018 and organization matters.
The Working Committee members expressed their resentment against the J&K State Government for not declaring Gazetted Holiday on "Birth Anniversary of Late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji (The Last Ruler of J&K State) which falls on 23rd of September each year. Moreover the upper house of J&K State, Assembly had also passed a resolution for declaring Gazetted Holiday on Birth Anniversary of Late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji. But even inspite of passing of resolution of upper house of J&K State, no action has been initiated by the State Government so for. Rajput Sabha vigorously demands that State Govt. must concede demand of Jammuities at the earliest failing which, people would be on streets on the sole responsibility of State Government. Besides demand of Gazetted Holiday on Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, Working Committee Members unanimously made the following demands.
