Police issues hue, cry notice against LeT militant | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 25: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday issued a hue and cry notice against a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant involved in the killing of Tariq Ahmad Malik, a forest employee on August 23 at Kunzar Tangmarg in Baramulla district. The Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Kunzar in Baramulla district has issued a hue and cry notice that Yousuf Dar alias Eseh Kantur, resident of Kawoosa, Badgam, is evading arrest in a case filed under Section 302 RPC ,7/27 1 A Act, 16,18 UA (P) Act. The notice further said that action under Section 87/88 of CrPC has been taken against the accused, Eseh Kantur. Suitable rewards will be awarded to people giving any information leading to his arrest while protecting their identities. Releasing the photograph of Eseh Kantur, the SHO said the wanted LeT militant is 30-year-old, medium build, short statured, wheatish and bearded. |
